For high school teacher and whitewater kayaker Crista Wiles, hucking 20-foot waterfalls isn’t a big deal. But to her, pushing her sport isn’t about getting sendy and taking on bigger risks. It’s about personal challenges, introducing new people to the rivers and celebrating the tight-knit community surrounding the sport.

Heather Mosheris a professional filmmaker based in Squamish, BC, with a love of mountains and wild places, chasing rock and snow as the seasons dictate. As a director, producer, cinematographer, and editor, she aims to craft truthful and compelling narratives, focusing on the intersection between mountain stories and important social and environmental topics. With a background in science and a postgraduate teaching degree, her passion is telling important stories that have the potential to inspire people and maybe even create a little bit of positive change in the world.
