Filmmaker Aaron Peterson’s 10-year-old son died in 2019. He lived an adventure-filled and wise life. In24 Leeches,his son narrates a family canoe adventure to the Slate Islands in Ontario, Canada. He reflects on camping, the changing climate of our Earth and especially his beloved Lake Superior. Part family adventure and part environmental film,24 Leechesis also a tribute to a father’s best friend and adventure partner. “I ache to know who he would have become,” says Peterson.

Without a Paddle
Without A Paddleis an adventure film blending the history of the upper Columbia River with a 140-kilometer paddle from the foot of the Mica Dam to the top of the Revelstoke Dam. Four intrepid snowboarders seek to retrace a portion of David Thompson’s footsteps down the Columbia River, in the middle of January, during one of the coldest snaps in recorded history in Revelstoke. This Wild Land
Threats to the Boundary Waters have taken many forms over time, but dedication to keeping this area safe has endured. This film's focus is on the people who help spread appreciation for the land and carry on, in their own individual ways, the legacy of Sigurd Olson, a writer and conservationist who was responsible for the area's National Forest designation in 1978.
