In February 2022, the British Isles were hit by three consecutive storms, some of the strongest seen in decades. In the days before the storms arrived, a group of paddlers decided to change their plans for a canoeing expedition while already en route to Scotland. Instead of paddling the exposed lochs along the west coast, they changed course, opting for a more sheltered location. A glen tucked away at the heart of the highlands.
