Though paddling is in Stefi Van Wijk’s blood, she had to find her own connection to the water. This Connected To Water episode features her story growing up in a family of championship paddlers, finding her place at the Madawaska Kanu Centre, and also what the Madawaska River has taught her after years of paddling.

Ben is an impact filmmaker, driven to create inspiring films that educate, illuminate, and ultimately drive action. His work explores stories with environmental and social impacts through a positive, solutions-based lens.
He moved from the UK to Canada in 2017 and loves Manchester United, hip hop, his dog (Jack), long walks without his camera, drinking obscene amounts of coffee before noon, live jazz and blues, bone-dry humour and pretending he could win the Jeopardy Tournament of Champions.
